Age Spots and Pigmentation
How Does treatment work?
The light energy is converted to heat which damages the targeted area. It can work on small clusters of pigmented areas, or it can be used over the whole to give back an even complexion.
What happens during a treatment?
A cold gel is usually applied to the area to be treated, and you will be given dark glasses to protect your eyes from the bright light. The smooth glass surface of the IPL handpiece is gently applied to the skin and pulses of light are applied. Treatment is administered as a single treatment or a series of sessions that provide excellent long term results, minimal adverse effects and high satisfaction.

Are there any possible side effects?
Occasionally, a client could develop bruising or blistering, but this would settle within a few days. In our experience, this would generally only happen when a client does not tell us about specific medication or fake tan products and demonstrates why the consultation is of the utmost importance.
